Oxford WSDC, held online from June 26 to 28, was Team Canada’s final competitive tournament before the World Schools Debating Championships. Three Canadian teams entered, each named in honour of distinguished alumni whose surnames have appeared on Team Canada at least twice: Flynn, Li and Goswami.
Team Canada Flynn was the Five. Team Canada Li paired three returning members with one new member of the 2026-2027 team, chosen at random from this year’s incoming students. Team Canada Goswami was made up entirely of incoming members, competing for Canada for the first time.
